Wayne D. Watson Obituary
We announce the death of Wayne D. Watson of Terre Haute, Indiana, who passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 91. Wayne will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarance Wayne and Vivian Bonnett Watson (Miller); his grandson David Michael Watson; his great grandchild Sloane Watson Smith; and his siblings, Shirley Garvey, Kay Francis, Jerry Watson, Gary Watson and Kenny Watson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Helen Watson (Kosarko); his sons, Michael Dale Watson (Debbie) and Joseph Wayne Watson; his siblings, Vicki Blitz, Patsy Hall and Larry Watson; and his grandchildren, Melissa Watson Smith (Nick), Matthew Watson (Rene), Elizabeth Stott (Brandon), Meagan Maren (Darrick) and Robert Montarsi. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the DeBaun Funeral Homes & Crematory (85 E Springhill Dr, Terre Haute, IN 47802). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
