He was predeceased by : his parents, Earl Edward Farris and Gayl Farris; his brother Edward R. Farris; and his son-in-law Matthew W. Buchanan. He is survived by : his wife Patty Farris; his children, Scott M. Farris (Michelle) and Melissa G. Buchanan; his grandchildren, Courtney R. Baugh (Clayton), Alexis M. Campbell (Justin), Morgan A. Freeman (Peyton), Kelsey D. Farris, Taylor L. Farris, Bristol, James, Elliana and Daxton; and his niece Brenda J. Martinez.
