He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Thornton and Eleanor Thornton (Mann); and his wife Elizabeth Thornton (Roth). He is survived by: his children, Julie Gloyeske (John), Jim Thornton (Lisa) and Don Thornton (Cheryl); his brothers, Tom Thornton (Marion) and Ed Thornton (Victoria); his sister-in-law Jane Davison; and his grandchildren, Kara Hall, Cory Thornton, Nathan Thornton, Tyler Thornton, Jordan Gloyeske and Madison Gloyeske. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
