Basil R. Hadley Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 4, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Basil R. Hadley of Thorntown, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

Though Basil may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Basil touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hadley and Betty Hadley (Thomas). He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hadley of Thorntown; his children, Scott Hadley (Claudia) of Arizona, John Hadley (Barbara) of Mississippi and Melissa Hadley of Indianapolis; and his stepdaughters, Shelia Garing (Mark) and Jackie Gunderman (Dave). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
