She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth L. Shafer and Ruth A. Shafer (Boganwright); her husband Myron R. Overmyer; her grandson Caleb Overmyer; her great grandchild Colton; and her brother Harold Shafer.
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Kreft (Larrie) of Tippecanoe, Tammy Cook (Robert) of Etna Green, Indiana, Randy Overmyer (Melanie) of Tippecanoe, Timothy Overmyer (Diane) of Goshen, Indiana and Dennis Overmyer (Cindy) of Plymouth, Indiana. She is also survived by Grandchildren – 21 Great-Grandchildren – 35 and Great-Great Grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grace Outreach Fellowship 2900 Center (2900 Center St, Tippecanoe, IN 46570). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
