As Betty departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Betty may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Betty leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Chandler Delph and Cercella Mae "Toots" Delph (Phifer); and her brother Ernest Delph, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Will Atchley; her daughter Amy Cole (Rex Cole); her granddaughters, Tasha DeWitt (Wes DeWitt) and Shayna Cole; and her great grandchild Mackenzie DeWitt.
