He was predeceased by: his husband Jim; and his parents, Clarabelle Prifogle and Donald "Pete" Prifogle. He is survived by: his sisters, Cheryl McGee of Columbus and Susan Lowry (Stephen) of Yorktown, Ind.; his sister-in-law Bonnie Hutto of Palm Bay, Fla.; and his nieces and nephews, Ricky McGee (Paige), Betsy Lowry-Tardy (Neal), Chris Lowry (Madison), Courtney Bryant (Paul) and Lindsey Hutto.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Young-Nichols Funeral Home (216 W Jefferson St, Tipton, IN 46072). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the University of Tennessee Amyloidosis and Cancer Theranostics Research Gift Fund.
