He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Thomas and Bettie Thomas (Zinsmeister); his wife Deletha "Dee" Thomas; and his son Eric Thomas. He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Thomas Barker (Cary), Diane Thomas Speer (Doug) and Deletha Thomas Boyd (Michael); his grandchildren, Charles Sullivan IV, Erinn Sullivan, Rachel Speer, Ryan Speer (Kelli), Samantha Boyd and Andrew Boyd; his great grandchildren, Athena Gendren, Ares Gendren and Apollo Gendren; his siblings, Betty Jo Watson and Clyde Thomas (Jacque); his brother-in-law Melvin Johnston; and his daughter Mia Hansen Andersen (Rene). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
