She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Joseph and Catherine Leota Protzman (Van Vactor); and her siblings, Leo, Paul Protzman, Mary Runde and Patricia Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Timothy J. Meng (Mike Goldschlag), Mark D. Meng, Mary A. Meng and Emma L. Teyema; her grandchildren, Madison Gruel, Natalie Teyema and Darian Brock (Dakota); and her siblings, Catherine Schieber (Paul), Alicia Lewis (Harold), Emma Kennedy, F. Herbert Protzman (Arla) and James Protzman (Terry).
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Young-Nichols Funeral Home (216 W Jefferson St, Tipton, IN 46072). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. John the Baptist Catholic Church (335 Mill St, Tipton, IN 46072).
Memorial contributions in Marty's memory may be made to the Building Fund at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.
