With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas David Yates of Tipton, Indiana, born in Covington, Kentucky, who passed away on June 30, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Edward and Nell June Yates (Blangy); his siblings, Harry Joseph Tiemeyer, Steven Wayne Yates and Romaine Patricia South; his nephew David Lee South II; and his niece Terry Marie Hedger.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Elizabeth (Groseclose); his children, Jennifer Yates of Peru, Laura Pope (Chris Myers) of Noblesville and Jonathan Yates (Amber) of Tipton; his siblings, Judy Teegarden (Ed) of California and Paul Yates (Debra Jean) of Highland Center, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Devin Piel, Griffin Yates, Darian Myers, Brant Pope, Katherine Yates, Avery Myers, Logan Gatliff, Roland Yates, Madalyn Gatliff and Emmett Yates.
