She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl B. Longfellow and Thelma Longfellow (Pearson); her husband Robert Noel Smith; and her siblings, James Longfellow, Doris Crull and Nancy Bailey.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Smith (Sandie) of Muncie, Sarah Floyd (Steve) of Yorktown and Anita Gunning (Tom) of Russiaville; her grandchildren, Andrea Daniels, Jason Gunning, Jennifer McClure (Fred) and Ryan Smith (Jessica); her great grandchildren, Lilly Wilson, Ryan Smith, Kyrie Smith, Jaymus Driver, Jonathan Rowing, Jessica McClure and Jackson McClure; and her sister Marjorie Reed. She is also survived by her family, friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Young-Nichols Funeral Home (216 W Jefferson St, Tipton, IN 46072). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
