He is survived by: his children, Connie Thiessen (Barry) of Columbia City, Joey Jacobs (Rhonda) of Cromwell, Jamey Jacobs (Gwen) of Statesville and Joseph C. Jacobs, Jr. (Lisa Cochran) of Topeka; his grandchildren, Joey Jacobs, Jr. (Mary Grace), Heather Jacobs (Adam Clute), Stephen McIntosh (Britni), Kayla Briggs (Colin), Christopher Smith, Tyler Thiessen, Gavin Portmess and Madeline Thiessen; his great grandchildren, Aaliyah Briggs, Liam Briggs and Charlotte McIntosh; and his sisters, Betty Kinney (Richard) of Arkansas and Nella Rose Gibson of Kentucky.
