He was predeceased by: his parents, Frazier Gill and Viola Gill (Hizer); and his wife Joyce C. Gill (Kalsbeck). He is survived by: his children, Cheryl Ferguson (Fredric) of Trafalgar and James T. Gill of Morgantown; his siblings, Nellie Hicks of Trafalgar, Willis Gill (Faye) of Trafalgar, Linda Syrus of Franklin, Larry Gill of Columbus, Calvin Gill (Wilma) of West Virginia and Edith Hizer of West Virginia; his grandchildren, Cameron Frye (Kristin) of Elizabethtown, Cassie Smith of Princes Lakes, Justin Gill of Morgantown, Mark Ferguson (Ashley) of Trafalgar and Tegan Ferguson of Trafalgar; his great grandchildren, Katelyn Frye, Michael Gill, Ronin Smith, Piper Smith, Carson Frye, Mark Ferguson Jr., Megan Ferguson, Charlie Ferguson, Cameron Elmore and Gracie Childers; and his great great grandchild Oakland Ferguson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center (179 E Mulberry St, Morgantown, IN 46160). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
