He is survived by: his mother Mary Schlunz (Harrison) of La Porte; his children, Danael Knowlton (Jason) of Buchanan, Michigan and Corbin Cains (Kacey) of Buchanan, Michigan; his grandchildren, Rylen Baker, Landon Cains, Sophia Smith and Nora Smith; and his siblings, Diane Bush (Richard) of Sarasota, Linda Thompson (Jim) of Warsaw, Denise Bealor (Steve) of La Porte, Mike Cains (Debbie) of La Porte and Paul Cains (Sue) of La Porte. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home (1117 Indiana Ave, La Porte, IN 46350). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
