She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Burton and Bessie Vandgrift (Johnson); and her brothers, Earl Vandgrift, Curtis Vandgrift and John Vandgrift.
She is survived by: her children, Hannah Crossley and Robert Miles; her son-in-law Matthew Crossley; her granddaughters, Addison Miles and Kaydence "Doodle" Miles; and her siblings, Herman Vandgrift of Waldo, Florida, Mildred Whitehead of Evansville, Juanita Humphrey of Elberfeld, Hazel Finley of Terre Haute, Jewell Patterson of Cloverport, Linda Bryant of Rome and Barbara Zoerner of Wisconsin.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home (920 10th St, Tell City, IN 47586). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at the Greenwood Cemetery.
