He is survived by: his wife Susie of Troy; his children, Kevin Fortwendel of Chicago and Amy Carter (Jeff) of Carmel; his granddaughters, Ava and Jenna; and his siblings, Cletus Jr. Fortwendel (Sarah) of Cullowhee, Tony Fortwendel (Angie) of Evanston, Tim Fortwendel (Sherri) of Evanston, Indiana, Annette Doherty (Kevin) of Jeffersonville and Martha Cutrell (Randy) of Evanston. He is also survived by 2 nieces and 11 nephews.
