With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Douglas Joe Lewis of Twelve Mile, Indiana, who passed away on September 11, 2025 at the age of 58. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Douglas may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Douglas touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his parents, Edward Joe and Betty Gail Lewis (Coffing); his aunts, Nina Warner-Lynch, Joan Coffing and Roxann Murphy (Marvin); and his cousins, Twila Collins (Dave) and Denver.
