He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester A. Kuns and Opal M. Kuns (Layman); his grandchildren, Michele Slothour, Kimberly Metzger and Eileen Wray; his siblings, Melvin, Lee, Maggie Markley, Sarah Flora, Martha Wolf, Naomi Markley, Eula Miller, Bowser and Flora Maxine Kuns; and his siblings-in-law, Marlin Markley, Carl Flora, Melvin Wolf, Kenneth Markley, Paul Miller, Bob Bowser, Bob Flora, Mark Eldon Wolf, Charles Whitaker, Phyllis Kuns (Miller) and Miriam Kuns (Kimmel).
He is survived by: his wife Janice Eilene Wolf; his children, Deborah (Gerald Slothour), Rebecca (Michael Cook), Rachel (Eric Metzger), Aaron, Jennie Kuns (Root), Elisabeth (Gordon Wray), Sarah (Kent Wray), Anna (Allen Boyd), Andrew, Kendra Kuns (Filbrun) and Joanna (Neil Gascho); his sister-in-law Judy Whitaker; his in-laws, Lynn and Kay Wolf; and his brother-in-law Neil Wolf. He is also survived by 42 grandchildren: 35 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church (9630 E Co Rd 375 N, Logansport, IN 46947). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. His health had steadily declined over the past years, and COVID took a real toll on his body.
