She was predeceased by: her parents, Maynard W. Ebert and Thelma L. Ebert (Bender); her children, Joseph Randall "Randy" Herbst and Christianne Gladish; and her brother Herbert Ebert.
She is survived by: her husband Lawrence J. Herbst; her children, Katharine Holmes (Ilyas) of Zionsville, Amanda Beihl of Colorado Springs, Julianne Thedans of Lafayette and Bernard Herbst (Margie) of Fortville; and her siblings, Weldon Ebert of Peru and Carolyn Barnes of Colorado. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Hope Cemetery (411 N Grant St, Peru, IN 46970).
