He was predeceased by: his father Will; and his siblings, Austin, Floyd "Shorty", Winston Sr., Luckie Barger, Elvie Rice and Cinderella Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Barger; his children, Kelley Barger and Cory Barger (Charles); and his siblings, Eva Scott, Minnie Pearl Sutton, Felda Henry, Annie Sanders and Taylor Barger (Donna). He is also survived by eight grand dogs.
