He was predeceased by : his parents, Emory William and Marcelle Evelyn Gray (Gibson); his brother-in-law Gary Hannan; his nephews, Robbie Darren Gray and Emory Dalton Gray; and his niece Amy Jo Newport.

He is survived by : his daughter Shannon Sanders (Andy); his grandchildren, Andrea and Evan Sanders; his friend Toni Gray; and his siblings, Doug (Darci), Joe (Anna Moyer), Damon (Julie), Paul James, Denise Byrum, Darcel Brown (Clay Jones) and Darla Hannan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many great nieces and nephews.
