He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman L. James and Nora James (Riggs); his wife Helen L. Alexander; his son Jeff James; his brothers, Garl, Richard, Dwight (Mary Lou) and Delmer James; and his grandchild Cohen Mukisa.
He is survived by: his sons, Gary James (Terrie) of Hartford City, Bruce James of Myrtle Beach, SC and Brad James (Luchie) of Indianapolis; his grandchildren, Joshua James, Julie Rojas (Christian), Hope Mukisa (Paul), Raphael Ramirez, Brandon Dake (Bobbie) and Brady James (Lauren); his great grandchildren, Maxwell, Eliza, Dario, Kedric Mukisa, Graclyn, Grayson Ramirez, Clark, Reese James, Taylor, Meadow, Merrick Dake, Derek, Rowan and Eden Rojas; and his sister-in-law Mary Lou James.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Epworth Church of Matthews-an expression of Ron's lifelong faith and commitment to the church he loved.
