He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Azerika Hartvig; his siblings, Barbara Smith and Donald Hartvig; and his nephew Andrew Hartvig. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hartvig; his children, Aric Hartvig and Adam Hartvig; his grandchildren, Val Hartvig, Emmy Hartvig, Danielle Tinkham, Vee Von Lynn and Jordan Tinkham; and his siblings, Marilyn Brethouwer (Richard), John Hartvig (Leslie), Raymond Hartvig, Kevin Hartvig (Kim) and Dale Hartvig (Theresa).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Union Chapel Church (6200 N 375 W, Bryant, IN 47326). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the American Legion Hall (290 Grand Ave E, Rosholt, WI 54473). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
