She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Phillips and Bernice Phillips (Hiatt); her sisters, Evelyn Wilson, Ruth Lee Puckett and Barbara Phillips; and her son-in-law Tim Hughes.
She is survived by: her husband Donald "Don" Herring; her children, Renda Plummer (Craig), Mark Herring (Lori) and Sherri Hughes; her uncle Rex Hiatt; her grandchildren, Angie Irwin (John), Jennifer Ellison (Paul), Megan Dill (Garrett), Derek Herring, Nathan Hughes, Lauren Mills (Kyler) and Landen Hughes (Kate Fisher); her great grandchildren, Johnathan, Emilee Irwin, Makaelyn, Lily Ellison, Ameila, Forest Herring and Lucy Mills; and her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Herring, Bonnie Burton and Carolyn Ketring. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
