She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis W. Lawvere and Delight Lawvere (Moorman); her husband James P. Slater; her brothers, F. William Lawvere and Albert Lawvere; her sister-in-law Sybil Lawvere; and her nephews, Robin Lawvere and Nevin Lawvere.
She is survived by: her brother Jon (Karen Ewing); her sisters-in-law, Fatima and Gabriele; and her sibling's children, Nick, Liell (Kimberly), Stephen Bartels of Birdseye, IN, David Cooper, Mike Cooper, Jerry Cooper, Danilo (Lori), Philip R. Lawvere, Marco Constant Fenaroli, Columbia, LaRhonda Lawvere Upland and Silvana (Adrian).
