He was predeceased by: his parents, W. D. Howard and Martha Howard; his son Jimmy Howard; and his sister Betty Hoss. He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his son Mark Howard (Cassie); his grandchildren, Jimmy Moore (Jennifer) of Caden Howard, J. J, Faulkner and Jenna Swain (Jason); his great grandchildren, Ivy, Heavyn, Brinleigh and Bodie; and his brother Tom Howard. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Legion Department of Indiana Children and Youth.
