He is survived by: his wife Miyoko Oskabe; his children, Michael, Emiko and Frank; his grandchildren, Hiroyoki, Minami, Keigo, Haruko and Yuriko; and his brothers, Vernon and Duane Willison. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
