It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Paul Shoemaker of Vallonia, Indiana, who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Shoemaker and Leah Shoemaker (Otting); and his siblings, Carl, Richard (Doris), Robert, James Shoemaker (Carolyn) and Norma Turmail.

He is survived by: his wife Barb (Schneider); his sons, David Paul Shoemaker (Leah Belk) of Tucson and Donald Andrew (Jennifer Redicker) of Vallonia; his sister Margaret Snider of Salem; his grandchildren, Aston, Caelyn, Bryton Shoemaker, Evan, Graham, Julia and Caroline Shoemaker; and his sister-in-law Lois Shoemaker.

Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church or Lutheran Central School.
