It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Louis Anderson of Valparaiso, Indiana, born in La Porte, Indiana, who passed away on August 31, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Anderson and Ann Anderson (Bowell); his daughters, Kelley Smith and Melissa Sheffer; and his sister Janine Anderson.

He is survived by: his wife Pamela Anderson (Hundt); his children, James Anderson, Shannon Shippee (Chad) and Julane Anderson; and his sister Nancy Carlson (Leonard). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
