It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Amy C. DeFries (Valparaiso, Indiana), who passed away on February 2, 2008, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, William Hamann and Caroline Hamann (Klemz); her siblings, Roland "Ding" Hamann of Louisville, Joan Hambrock of Fort Wayne, Indiana., Ardella Haman of Osawatomie and Wilma Edwards of Center Point; and her daughter-in-law Kathleen DeFries of Valparaiso.

She is survived by : her son David L. DeFries; her grandsons, Ryan and Daniel; her son Dr. Timothy H. DeFries (Larayne Dallas); and her grandchildren, Christa, Nat and Anna.
