She was predeceased by: her parents, Musker Ford and Lillie Ford (Wilson); and her siblings, Judy Miles, Kenny Ford, Etta Byrom, Wanda Vanderheof, Nick Ford, Bev McFall, Andy Ford, Gladys Grimmer, Omer Ford and Hazel Grimmer.

She is survived by: her husband James Smith; her children, James, Lilly'Sis' White (Shawn), Shirley Schaefer (Mark) and Michael Smith (Nika Bart); her sister Glenna Luna; and her brother-in-law Darrel Miles. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
