It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Beverly A. Hackett of Valparaiso, Indiana, who passed away on April 23, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, G. Percy Leathurby and Hazel Leathurby (Niehaus); her husband Richard Hackett; her granddaughters, Alexis Schroeder and Suzannah Carlin; and her siblings, Paul Leathurby and Mae Stevers.
She is survived by: her children, Martin "Marty" Hackett (Pam) of Valparaiso, Antoinette "Toni" Schroeder of Valparaiso and Andrea Byerman (Jeff) of Knox; her grandchildren, Brian Norris, Christian Hackett (Joanna), Kiersten Byerman (Jake), Blake Byerman and Elizabeth Rufo (Bryan); and her great grandchildren, Gianna, Julian, Atticus and Naomi.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Moeller Funeral Home (104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso, IN 46383). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at the First United Methodist Church of Valparaiso (103 Franklin St, Valparaiso, IN 46383).
