He was predeceased by: his father Bryant Matthews; and his sister Heather Matthews. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Matthews (Nadolski) of Crown Point; his siblings, Sherrie Matthews (Carmen Dulhanty) of Crown Point, Paul Matthews (Renee) of Crown Point and Roger Matthews (Dawn) of Hobart; his nieces, Ashley Matthews, Bailey Matthews (Evan Pearson), Zoie Matthews and Meranda Sparr (Mason); and his great-nephews, Angelo and Gabriel Sparr.
