She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mark S. Smith and Betty Lou Svetich (Castillo); her grandmother Mary Lou Smith of Merrillville; her significant other Todd Petersen; the father of her children Jason Martin; her children, Corrine Martin of Florida, Lily Martin, Isabella Martin of Valparaiso and Spencer Martin of Valparaiso; her stepparents, Nicholas Svetich of Valparaiso and Irma Smith; her siblings, Mark "Nolan" Smith of Munster and Chloe Smith of Hammond; her grandparents, Benito, Vera Castillo and Donald O. Smith; her aunts, Dora and Irma Castillo; her uncle Wallace Blackmon; and her nephew Christian Smith. She was also cherished by many loving aunts and uncles and nieces and nephews.
