She was predeceased by: her parents, Mathew Martinek and Alona Martinek (Miehlke); and her great-niece Keegynn. She is survived by: her daughter Leila Balch-Martinek; her siblings, Paul Martinek (Janel), Ken Martinek (Janice), Howard Martinek (Dianne), Donna Piernikowski (Michael) and Nina Bender; and her pet Ember. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
