With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald William Peters of Valparaiso, Indiana, who passed away on November 7, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Peters and Erma A. Peters (DeNeal); his daughter Steffany Hobby; and his pet Olive. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Meyer; his daughter Dee Lindahl (Allen); his grandchildren, Summer (Sam), Carly, Kaylee (Luke) and Austin; and his sister Karen Ward (Don).
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Moeller Funeral Home (104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso, IN 46383). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, November 14th 2025 at the Angelcrest Cemetery (180 E 600 N, Valparaiso, IN 46383).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society (https://www.cancer.org) or Dunes Hospice.
