With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donney M. Steber Sr. of Valparaiso, Indiana, born in Low Moor, Virginia, who passed away on April 17, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Donney shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Donney farewell, we carry with us the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding us through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

He was predeceased by : his wife Flora Steber. He is survived by : his children, Marie Butz (Joseph) of Manteno, IL, April Tubbs of Lafayette, IN and Don Steber (Rhonda) of Valparaiso, IN; and his sister Maybeline "Polly" of Highland, IN.. He is also survived by his six grandchildren; his three great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the White-Love Funeral Home (525 S 2nd St, Chesterton, IN 46304). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
