It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doreen Shupe of Valparaiso, Indiana, who passed away on September 23, 2025, at the age of 54, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Doreen departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Doreen may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Doreen leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her sisters, Sharon Shupe and Anita Flippo. She is survived by: her son Keith Mackall; her sisters, Debbi Helton and Cheryl Staddon (Ronald); and her close friend Linda Mackall. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews, and her great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Boersma Funeral Home (90 E Grove St, Wheatfield, IN 46392). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Wheatfield Cemetery (1250 N SR 49, Wheatfield, IN 46392).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
