He was predeceased by: his parents, Harland L. Newman and Thelma G. Newman-Jones (Wright); his wife Madeline Joy Sealock of Front Royal, VA.; his stepfather Shelby Jones; his granddaughter Samantha Reuter; and his brothers, Harland Newman, Allen, Glenn and Kenneth Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Wanda Reuter (Steve) and Ron Newman (John) of Norfolk, VA; his grandchildren, Josh Reuter of Palos Heights, IL and Amy Sorrick (Chase); his daughter Rebecca Schroeder (Jason); and his great grandchildren, Riley, Rowland, Madeline Sorrick, Alexander and Ilse Reuter. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
