It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Jean Jones of Valparaiso, Indiana, who passed away on December 7, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Houston King and Rosie Lee King (Denton); and her siblings, Houston King, Jr. and Dorothy Jean Glover. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Gregory A. Jones. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moeller Funeral Home (104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso, IN 46383). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Union Community Church United Church of Christ Restoration Project or the James L. Kingsland Cultural Hub ECHO Gatherings.
