We bid farewell to Ingrid Anderson of Valparaiso, Indiana, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 25, 2025 at the age of 90. Ingrid touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. As Ingrid departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Ingrid. Though Ingrid may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Erik Mueller and Anna Von Mueller (Wilke); her husband Maurice Anderson; her stepfather Anastassi Kobyak; and her brother Karl Von Mueller.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Anderson Holthouse (Dan) of Lake Placid, FL, Susan Ruge Engles (Rick) of Crownsville, MD, Dr. John Robert Ruge (Melissa) of Chicago, IL, Julie Anderson Velardo (Bernie) of Charlotte, NC and Carol Anderson Spaulding (Bob) of Valparaiso, IN; and her sister-in-law Ingrid Von Mueller. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Moeller Funeral Home (104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso, IN 46383). A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Kosanke Funeral Home (309 S Main St, Kouts, IN 46347).
