She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Hughes and Sarah Hughes (Mounce); her husband Howard Cartwright; and her sisters, Della and Helen.

She is survived by: her children, Randy Cartwright (Cindy), Rhonda Gikas (Rick) and Lisa MacKenzie; and her grandchildren, Clif (Samantha), Todd, Crystal, Christine, Nicole (Andrew), Dustin (Emily), Kyle (Jessica), Dillon and Kimberley. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
