She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Kitowski and Mildred Kitowski (Hillyard); and her husband Duane Melton. She is survived by: her sons, Paul Melton of Chesterton, Christopher Melton (Michelle Warner) of Seattle and Brian Melton (Ashley Smithey) of Valparaiso; and her sister Judy Doppelfeld (Joe) of Lafayette.
