He was predeceased by: his parents, John Simon, and Patricia Simon, Sr. (Quigley); his sister Debbie Simon; and his brother-in-law Bill Burman. He is survived by: his wife Danielle Covert; his sons, Nicholas Simon (Danielle) of Valparaiso, Zachary Simon of Valparaiso, Jacob Simon of Valparaiso and Jackson Simon of Valparaiso; his grandson Elliott Simon; his sisters, Judy Burman and Cindy Pennington (Paul); his nephew Matthew Pennington (Keisha); and his sister-in-law Jennifer Burke.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family.
