John F. Neis Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 24, 2025, at the age of 85, John F. Neis of Valparaiso, Indiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John F. Neis to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Neis and Anita Neis (Ruesch); his wife Kathleen Zabielski; his siblings, Patricia Barker (Arthur) and Leo Neis; and his sister-in-law Joan Zabielski.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Lynn Wirtes (Mike), Lisa Neis and Scott Neis (Shelley); his grandchildren, Hayden, Hyatt Neis, Jamie Buchanan (Drew), Michael Wirtes (Linissa) and Dani Erickson (Tony); his great grandchildren, Reagan, Brooke, Keegan, Kenzie, Jase and Jessa; his siblings-in-law, Kay Neis, Helen Zabielski and John Zabielski (Marie); and his caregivers, Lisa, Polly, Juliette and John.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Moeller Funeral Home (104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso, IN 46383). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 27th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
