He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Magurean and Ann Magurean (Olariu); and his brother Peter Magurean. He is survived by: his children, Douglas Magurean (Vickie) of Florida and Candace Magurean of Noblesville, IN; his grandchildren, Nicholas Magurean (Marjie Emrick) and Emily Magurean; his partner Claire Cavanaugh; and his sister Rebecca Moore (Garry).
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Moeller Funeral Home (104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso, IN 46383). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
