It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Kevin McCaffrey of Valparaiso, Indiana, who passed away on September 2, 2023, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Karen; his parents, Martin Flaherty and Marian Flaherty; his brother Michael Flaherty; and his sister-in-law Therese Flaherty.

He is survived by: his fiancée Kristin VarnHagen; his nieces, Shannon Venturelli (Brendan), Kaylee Flaherty and Riley Flaherty; his cousin Marian Williamson; and his uncle Bill.
