She was predeceased by : her parents, Arthur Gumm and Myrtle Gumm (Bringe); her husband John W. Scheerer; and her brother Don Gumm. She is survived by : her son John Timothy Scheerer (Wendy) of Chesterton; her grandsons, Adam and Nate Scheerer; her brother Terry Gumm (Mary) of Merrillville; and her sister-in-law Eileen. She is also survived by four nieces and six nephews.
