She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Ehrsam and Marie Ehrsam (Ambre); her children, Janet Wuletich, George and John Burchuk; her stepdaughter Jerri Wachter; and her siblings, Mary Fitzpatrick, Gerald, Robert, Herbert and Roy Ehrsam.
She is survived by: her husband Ralph Heavilin; her children, Lori Lachowicz (Tony), Kay Gannon (Roger), Daniel Burchuk (Kathy), Edward Burchuk (Denise) and James Burchuk; and her stepchildren, Richard Heavilin (Dianna), William Lore, Cheryl Lavergne, Garry Heavilin and Susan Powers (Frank). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Moeller Funeral Home (104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso, IN 46383). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, August 6th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (356 W 700 N, Valparaiso, IN 46385). A burial will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
