She is survived by: her children, Gary Hinton (Karin), Kathryn Hinton-Spiegel (Jeffery) and Lisa Nisle; her grandchildren, Amanda Nisle, Garrett Nisle (Mia), Andrea Manzuk-Rayder (Charlie) and Peter Manzuk (Kellie); and her brother Timothy Jostes (Sandra).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gabriel's Home of Valparaiso.
